ETC's Youth Library Development Program distributes—free of charge—new books for startup or improvement of libraries and reading programs administered by nonprofit partners serving underprivileged children and youth and their families. ETC volunteers the time and expertise to read, evaluate and distribute books according to the reading level, age and ethnic demographics of each partner's clients in settings beyond the traditional framework of public schools.
